I Didn’t Knew If I Would Make It!

Unbelievable, but this short haired guy on this picture is me precisely one year ago. It’s taken of my ‘Happy 2008’ video I published on Viddler. Even though my positive behavior I remember that I was shaking deep inside, because I knew there where some challenges ahead I wasn’t sure I could take. My situation was on the edge, because I was waiting for my tenants to leave. Even though they were a guarantee that I could pay my mortage I decided to say good bye to them. Because I knew that I wouldn’t get a monthly paycheck until the end of the year, I knew I had to build my own business and use all my creativity to face those challenges.
To be honest, while I was doing all the best wishes to my fellows of NaNoWriMo, Viddler and Twitter, I was afraid that I wouldn’t get the chance to do so one year later. (more…)


Ready For Take Off

Today I finally took the definitive step and booked my flight to New York. From November  3 until November 9 I will visit Ilaria a.k.a. Swimturtle in Brooklyn to work together. Besides working, we also planned to keep an eye on each other’s NaNoWriMo activities.

As I have no plot yet, I consider working on it during the flight. But as we all know ‘No Plot, No Problem’ is the mother of the whole NaNoWriMo-mindset, therefore I’ll surly take te time to gaze at the clouds. (more…)


NaNoWriMo 2008 thoughts 2

It’s amazing. The last month before November NaNo-madness seems to bring a fresh breeze into writers land. The group on Viddler is still growing. Some fellows from last year going to awake form a long sleep, it seems.

NaNo 2008 is an event you don’t wanna miss as a writer. But even if you see yourself not as a writer, but as somebody who writes so now and then a little, you don’t wanna miss it. Just as last year I am sure that the Viddler group will be more fun than the writing itself. Because writing a book/novel itself is a very lonely task. (more…)
