Street Portraiture – The Tattoo Wizard 1

Sometimes it happens that you don’t know what to do with an image until…

…you come back to it a couple of month after you took it. It’s just like a good bottle of wine. It has matured while you have created some distance.

This street portrait I took from Alex Sherker, owner of the tattoo parlor Wizard Mountain in Brooklyn is a good example. I just did the proper post processing eight month after taking it. Before that I had know clue in what direction I wanted to edit it.

If you don’t know what to do with your imagery immediately after taking it, just let it mature and come back to it later. Think twice before you wipe them from your hard drive.
