Picnic In Central Park – Don’t Forget Your Speedlite

A couple of month ago Pedro and I demonstrated why you should use…

…your speedlite if you go out and shoot on a bright and sunny day. You can watch the video and read the post by clicking here.

Of course, when I was invited to a picnic in Central Park in Manhattan I followed my own advice. The main difference in this case was just that I didn’t had any light modifiers with me, nor had I ask anybody to assist me by holding my flash and taking directions all the time in order to make it possible for me using off-camera flash.

Thus I had to rely on the ETTL of my Canon 580 EX II and I’m pretty happy with the results. This speedlite never left me stranded one single shot since I got it. I love this speedlite.
