Recently I learned that a giraffe is 2 meters long at birth, what is something around the 6.5 feet.

Two weeks after the birth of the newborn giraffe at Gaia Zoo in Kerkrade (NL) I took this shot. Even though there is no adult giraffe in the image for comparison you can tell that it’s a young one because of the oversized knees and ankles.
