Second Impression Of The Wacom Intuos4 Tablet: The Software 1

I really love my Wacom Intuos4 drawing tablet so far. Even though I drew a couple of pages in the meantime and the nib wear is higher than with the other Wacom tablets, it is not as bad as I feared that it was.

Anyway, when it comes to the software part of it there is a little flaw that can be annoying if you are not taking action right from the start. I encountered this problem several times and it kind of pissed me off when I was in the mood to draw in Manga Studio and had to interrupt my creative flow because of this: the software of the Wacom Intuos4 just forgot that I’ve added Manga Studio to it and made custom settings.

Honestly I can’t say if it is something from Windows Vista or Wacom but I learned that it isn’t much of a luxury to use the back-up software for the preferences of the Wacom tablet to avoid that I have to set it all up again.

Mine does this a lot! Apparently, Smith Micro is supposed to be remedying this. They have the update on their website already if you downloaded your version of manga studio. if you bought a physical copy, we have to wait for them to release that update yet.
