Recently I made this tutorial on how to make sure that an area is white and not transparent. Not long after I published this I got asked by a user why I’m not just using the standard solution of showing the transparent area that is available in Manga Studio and of course in many other graphic software programs.
As I tweeted earlier today you can easily use this option by pressing CTR+4 or going to the view menu and clicking on this function there. The reason for not doing this, or at least not doing it that often is that all the small squares can be quite distracting if your drawing is a little more complex.
