Honestly I’m not an expert when it comes to rap and I don’t feel that this is necessary to like the music I am listening to. I was very glad to discover today that Eminem is back with a new album called Recovery.

I like the hook and the song altogether, though I have to admit that I’m a little amazed that he says his last album sucked. When I’m gone was one of my favorites and I listen often to it (and Lose Yourself) when I was writing the trailer park parts of my novel Loser – Director’s Cut. These songs always gave me the right feeling for the atmosphere I wanted to create during the writing process. Yes, they helped me a lot.
I’m glad that he has recovered and that he’s back again. I look forward to hear the rest of this album.
