Because the last post already had landed in your feed reader before I could do anything about it, her my apologize for setting it on hold.
To late I discovered that the poll plug-in isn’t compatible with newest version of WordPress. There are many discussions and work around in the forums but nothing solves the problem so far. Even after trying everything out for hours.
The only thing I need is a poll plug-in that does what it’s effing supposed to, without me running through all the code by myself.
A simple poll in a post. Just easy as that. If any of my dear readers knows such a plug-in, please let me know!

I presume that it’s the Democracy plugin that’s not working. Try the WP-Polls plugin; I’ve just tested it in one of my websites (http://helloo.org/shoot). You can use this plugin either in a post, or/and in the sidebar. Let us know how you get on with it.
By the way, your previous polls are now not working and reporting an error code, so since I can’t vote on them I’d just like to say that “yes, I’d love to read your books if they were translated”, If not into English – then German, Italian or Spanish will do nicely!

First I had the wp-polls plugin and noticed that the polls weren’t working anymore. Since I updated to WP 2.7.1 I never used it and now they don’t work.
That’s why I deleted wp-polls and installed democracy and replaced the old polls with democracy polls. They produce a 404-error. I tried a fix I found by changing a comment section in the code, but it won’t help.
My cry for help in the WP forum is still unheard. So I am like a maniac looking for a poll plugin that works.
Mario, wp-polls should work. I can’t see any reason why it should conflict with your other plug-ins. Have you tried the latest version of it again? If so, what error messages are you getting? You know, you may have to start the ‘old’ polls from scratch (i.e. deleting them and rewriting them).

I deleted the wp-polls plugin (including the old polls, indeed) and installed the newest version.
When I install the newest version and vote or click on show results it starts loading forever and nothing happens. Ever.
Yesterday the creator gave me a link to a forum and I guess I have to study all this information. I think I doe a last try and install it again.
Who knows, maybe it’ll work in a miraculous way.
